Quickstart Guide

Welcome to Axiooma. This guide will help you configure the workspace, populate your project intelligence encyclopedia, and audit your first requirements specification using AI.

Step 1: Configure Your AI API Key

To activate Axiooma’s intelligent capabilities, you need to set up credentials for your preferred AI provider:

1. Log in to the application and navigate to Settings in the sidebar.
2. Select the Organization tab.
3. Click on Add Model to configure a new model connection.
4. Input the API Key for your preferred provider (e.g. Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, or Groq).
5. Choose your default model and save changes.

Note: Your credentials are encrypted and stored securely. Axiooma does not store or share your keys with third parties.

Step 2: Connect MCP and External Providers

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) enables AI agents to query local resources securely:

• Configure local MCP servers (such as database schemas or filesystem folders) in the MCP settings tab.
• Set up external project connections by linking accounts for Jira, Asana, ClickUp, or GitHub in the Organization > External Connections section to import and sync requirements.

Step 3: Populate Context with Reference Files

Provide the AI with context about your domain rules and target architecture:

1. Create a new Project in the main dashboard.
2. Go to the project page and navigate to Attach Documentation.
3. Drag & drop your files (such as business briefs, PDFs, Word docs, or diagrams).
4. Axiooma’s background engine processes, structures, and indexes the content inside your project’s encrypted intelligence encyclopedia.

Step 4: Write and Audit Your First Spec

1. Click on New Spec within your project.
2. Provide a brief summary or paste your raw description draft.
3. Use the sidebar AI Assistant chat to refine the specification using the indexed context.
4. Run Quality Guard to audit the spec and receive immediate quality scoring and improvement tasks.
